Dance Gavin Dance Bassist Tim Feerick Dies at Age 34

The fans and followers of the Sacramento-based rock band are devastated after the recent death of their bass player. It’s still not clear how their beloved band member lost his life.

American bassist Tim Feerick waved the final goodbye to the world on Wednesday, 13 April 2022. He was part of the American rock band, Dance Gavin Dance.

Dance Gavin Dance is still mourning the untimely loss of their longtime band member.

The band shared the devastating news via their Twitter handle on 14 April 2022. With a heartfelt message, they asked fans and followers to respect their privacy and that of Tim’s family.

They wrote:

We are absolutely devastated to share the news that our friend and bass player, Tim Feerick, passed away last night. We ask that you respect our privacy and that of Tim’s family while we deal with this heartbreaking and untimely loss.

Tim was supposed to go on a national tour with his band later this month. However, his journey was unfortunately cut short at the age of 34.

Tim joined the rock band back in 2009. The band was initially formed in 2005. It consists of vocalists Tilian Pearson and Jon Mess, rhythm guitarist Andrew Wells, lead guitarist Will Swan, and drummer Matthew Mingus.

Since joining the band in 2009, Tim released six albums with them. It included Downtown Battle Mountain II (2011), Acceptance Speech (2013), Instant Gratification (2015), Mothership (2016), Artificial Selection (2018), and Afterburner (2020).

Tim’s actual cause of death still remains confined as of now.
